Wedded Bliss

Today, my husband and I are trying to return to wedded bliss.  My husband made it to our counseling session.  Yeah!!!  We took the first step together to begin talking to each other instead of at each other.  I  hope we continue along the road together.

Maybe Sunday will be better than  I am anticipating.  I will have a shoulder to cry on.

Moving right with graduation prep.  Almost finished with the shopping.  I even managed to get some of  the
gargantuan weeds out of my garden.  Still a bunch more to go.

Realized I'm a perfectionist.  Gotta learn to let things go!  Probably going to be more difficult than actually doing what I let go of.  :)  We shall see.

Graduation

the mountain

I spent the day preparing for my son's graduation on Sunday, June 2.  There is so much to do and the days are getting fuller and fuller.  One bonus about being so busy is not having the time to break down and cry!

Finalized the party menu...Fried chicken, hot dogs, macaroni salad, pasta salad, cole slaw, salad, deviled eggs, potato salad, baked beans, fruit salad, veggie tray, cheese cubes, soda, tea, water, lemonade, and of course CAKE.  I hope I have enough to eat :)

I got Devin to pick out a flavor for his cake--chocolate.  YUM!  He's really not helping much with his party and barely passed out any invites to his classmates.  I can only hope he'll remember tomorrow.  He's too busy with his girlfriend, who won't let him out of her sight.  I'm half tempted to just let things be, but I know our extended families would raise a stink.

Managed to get some school work done, get my new driver's license, grocery shop, make lunches, get kids off to school, make dinner, prepare for Girl Scout meeting, give advice to my former co-workers, spread mulch, make cupcakes,do laundry, make a bird feeder, make invitations, and make appointment for some dental work.  I can't believe I still have some energy left.

Tomorrow--Girl Scout shop, counseling, daughter's gymnastics, son has graduation practice, finish grocery list and...  Wait, it's a slow day!  I might actually get my garden weeded to plant my veggies.  :)
